A substantial aspect of hearing loss in the United States is attributed to employment-related noises. It is a fact that hearing loss is an underlying growing issue for military veterans. People who serve the military and law enforcement pay a high price personally and physically when serving. In most recent years, hearing loss has become an incident among returning military personnel which has skyrocketed. Veterans are 30% more likely to have severe hearing loss than non-veterans. And even veterans who served overseas between September 2001 through March 2010, they were four times more likely to have suffered from hearing loss.
