What is a Repeater/Base Station Frequency License?
The FCC requires a license for any fixed repeater and base station location. Repeaters and base stations are used alongside two-way radios for better coverage, longer range, and penetration.
Licensing a Radio
When using a two-way radio for business, the FCC requires you to license a frequency. This license ensures you are using a frequency that's reserved for your business, preventing any interference with other frequencies from other radio users. The FCC Part 90 Business radio license is good for 10 years. After 10 years, you have the opportunity to renew.
This price includes any and all FCC and coordination fees that are paid on your behalf. Due to this, once the application process has begun, we will not provide a refund under any circumstance.
