The ComTac VI uses omni-directional microphones and high-fidelity speakers that replicate sound clearly and accurately. Advanced Hearing Protection with Talk-Through
Many military and tactical environments exceed safe noise levels, putting your hearing at risk. The environmental listening function's ability to detect and locate sound is critical for situational awareness. The "talk-through" feature allows safe audio to pass while blocking out harmful noise. A microphone on the headset receives outside sounds and transmits them to the speaker inside your headset.
The level-dependent digital audio circuit senses noise levels above the desired threshold and compresses them to a safe decibel level or amplifies weak sounds to an audible level.

The FSW Team we on it and got my order shipped the same day. Luckily I live close to their warehouse and got the order shipped one day UPS for cheap. The box came that next day! In said box was a new pair of Peltor Comtac VIs. A bit more expensive than OpticsPlanet, but you’ll at least get your order within the month.
