3M Peltor ComTac ACH ARC Communication Headset, Dual Comm, Single Downlead Split Audio MT17H682P3AD-49 CY - COYOTE BROWN The COMTAC III and COMTAC IV both have Single and Dual Comm variants for streamline cable management. The downleads separate left and right audio traffic.
The 3M Peltor COMTAC series of headsets offer tactical communication in addition to hearing protection for today's modern warfighter. ComTac Tactical Communication Headsets are formulated and constructed specifically for use with firearms and ballistic combat helmets. These headsets feature external microphones with talk-thru capability to maintain situational awareness while still sustaining hearing protection. The ComTac III Advanced Communication Headset (ACH) has been standardized and fielded by various DOD agencies, specifically U.S. SOCOM and U.S. Army PEO Soldier.
The COMTAC III ARC configuration is for use with Ops-Core FAST Helmet. These ARC Mounted Headsets are designed to address the challenges associated with doffing and donning of the helmet which in addition eliminates €œhot spots,€� reducing the need to modify the internal padding of the helmet for proper fitting. The system utilizes a mounting mechanism to connect the headset to the helmet Accessory Rail Connector. With the Dual COMM single downlead design, its headset is connected to one cable downlead yet accommodates two radios via a PTT.

Spending hot summer days in the sun shooting with traditional ear pro over my ears was getting a bit uncomfortable. Having used Silynx in the past and knew about their in-ear headsets, I unintentionally stumbled on a non-comms version, which was exactly what I needed. I love the leak testing feature - takes some getting used to but will guarantee you'll be protected on the first shot.
They were out of the comtac V so they gave me the comtac Viii and I asked for quicker shipping as well and it got here in two days they’re great work great you get what you pay for

First Source Wireless, are Amazing! They went way above and beyond. Customer service is Excellent. 3M cheaped out and didnt include their proprietary charge cord. First Source found a cord and got it to me fast.
