Question #1: Do You Have an Exisiting Two-Way Radio You Need to Use?
Even though the Litecom headsets have a built-in two-way radio, you may have existing two-way radios you want to use with the headset.
The only headset that is able to be programmed to an existing two-way radio is the Litecom Pro III.

Question #2: Do You Need Bluetooth?
Bluetooth let’s you connect to an external device like your cell phone to listen to music and answer calls – without removing the headset.
If you want Bluetooth it’s only available in WS models of the Litecom headsets. Ones without the WS in the name will not have Bluetooth.

Question #3: Do You Need Intrinsically Safe?
Litecom headsets are certified intrinsically safe by CSA Group making them safe to use in hazardous areas where the risk of explosions or fire is present.
The only headset that is Intrinsically safe is the 3M Peltor WS Litecom Pro III.

Question #4: Do You Need Hi-Viz?
Hi-Viz clothing helps you stay seen and reduces the risk of injury or death. 3M designed select Litecom headsets in a bright yellow color – similar to hi-viz vests and shirts – that helps wearers stay seen.

Question #5: How Many Channels Do You Need?
Each headset in the series has its own set number of channels because they have a built-in two-way radio. Channels have their own unique frequency that allows users to communicate with different users or groups. One channel can be used for supervisors while another channel can be used for packaging staff etc. – all without interference.

3M Peltor WS Litecom Pro III
The 3M Peltor Pro III is the most feature rich in the family with everything you need to integrate with your existing radio fleet. It has both analog and DMR two-way radio systems with Bluetooth, external audio jacks, and environmental listening. Environmental listening automatically adjusts listening dependent on your surroundings.
If you need to integrate your existing radio or need a lot of channels, this is the right headset for you.

3M Litecom Plus
The Litecom Plus is the step down from the Pro III with a few less channels and features. It still has Bluetooth (in select models) and environmental listening to adjust audio to your surroundings but doesn’t have the ability to integrate to an existing radio.
This is a good headset if you don’t need to integrate a radio, want more channels, and work in environments where the environmental listening feature will help.
