Environmental Listening
Environmental listening technology allows workers to hear external low-noise sounds without having to remove the headset, and guards against hearing damage when exposed to loud noises.
Rugged Ingress Protection
The XPI is designed to operate in the harshest environments with an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. IP68 is the highest rating possible, so you will have no issues communicating clearly in the dust or the rain.

Push-to-Listen (PTL)
The new PTL technology allows you to communicate face-to-face with people close by in a noisy environment, without being tempted to remove your headset and risk hearing damage.
Advanced Battery Technology
The Protac XPI has been upgraded to automatically power off after 4 hours of inactivity to save battery life, and it will give you a warning when the battery reaches low power. Powered by AA or rechargeable NiMH pack, the XPI now delivers 45 hours of battery life compared to 24 hours by its predecessor.
Bluetooth Multipoint
Bluetooth Multipoint technology allows your Protac XPI headset to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This can be helpful when you carry two phones, as the headset can automatically answer calls from the device that is ringing for example.
