Ericsson Cradlepoint routers

Mobile network solutions

Explore Panorama antenna options for vehicle connectivity, from Mako roof-mounted configurations and discreet Sharkfin antennas to adhesive-mount solutions and a starter antenna kit.

Antenna selection for your mobile network

Start with your router model, then match the antenna to your vehicle and deployment. Check cellular bands, antenna port counts, connector types, cable length, mounting surface and Wi-Fi or GPS/GNSS requirements.

Click a router model below to expand its description. The featured antennas are options to evaluate, not a statement that every configuration is compatible with every router. Confirm exact router and antenna part numbers before ordering.

Select your router

Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 routerR1900

Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900

Plan your R1900 5G installation around the required cellular, Wi-Fi and GPS/GNSS connections. Confirm the exact hardware configuration and any accessory modem requirements before selecting an antenna package.

Featured antenna options to evaluate

A configuration without integrated Wi-Fi requires a separate Wi-Fi antenna solution if Wi-Fi is needed.

Ericsson Cradlepoint R980 routerR980

Ericsson Cradlepoint R980

Build an R980 mobile 5G installation around the antenna connections needed for cellular service, Wi-Fi and positioning. Cable routing, vehicle mounting location and connector compatibility should guide the final selection.

Featured antenna options to evaluate

Confirm antenna requirements separately for any additional cellular modem.

Ericsson Cradlepoint R920 routerR920

Ericsson Cradlepoint R920

The R920 is available in ruggedized LTE configurations with Wi-Fi. Match the antenna to the exact router and modem combination rather than assuming that every 4×4 MIMO antenna connection will be used.

Featured antenna options to evaluate

Ask for connection guidance for your specific R920 part number, including how unused leads should be handled. The R1900 / R980 starter kit is not presented as an R920 kit.

Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR1700 routerIBR1700

Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR1700

The IBR1700 supports in-vehicle networking with LTE, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Identify the installed modem and any second-modem configuration, then confirm the required cellular, Wi-Fi and positioning connections.

Featured antenna options to evaluate

Confirm the Wi-Fi element count and cellular isolation requirements for your installation. Do not assume one antenna housing covers every connection on a multi-modem system.

Featured mobile antenna solutions

Mako 5-in-1 and 7-in-1 vehicle antennas

The Mako range combines four cellular elements with GPS/GNSS and optional Wi-Fi in one housing. No metallic ground plane is required. The configurations below link to black models with fitted 5m cables; other manufacturer configurations are selectable on the product page.

  • Mako 5-in-1 | LG-IN2444: four cellular elements plus one GPS/GNSS module, without Wi-Fi. Cellular and GPS cables use SMA male connectors.
  • Mako 7-in-1 | LG-IN2445: four cellular elements, one GPS/GNSS module and two Wi-Fi elements. Cellular and GPS cables use SMA male connectors; Wi-Fi uses reverse-polarity SMA.

Mako cellular coverage is 617–960 and 1710–6000 MHz. Do not split the four cellular elements between two concurrently active or aggregated cellular radios; the product guidance does not support that use.

GP-IN2680 and GP-IN2712 Sharkfin antennas

  • GP-IN2680: black, 4×4 MIMO cellular, one GPS module and 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi, with fitted 5m cables. Cellular and GPS use SMA male connectors; Wi-Fi uses reverse-polarity SMA.
  • GP-IN2712: black, 4×4 MIMO cellular and one GPS module, without Wi-Fi, with fitted 5m SMA male cables.

Confirm mounting requirements and whether an additional communications whip is needed. A metal panel is required when using a communications whip.

Adhesive-mount antennas for discreet installations

The BAT range is designed for mounting on or under a vehicle dashboard or parcel shelf, on a non-conductive surface.

  • BATGM4-6-60-D: 4×4 MIMO cellular, one GPS module and 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi, with 3m cables. Cellular and GPS use SMA male connectors; Wi-Fi uses reverse-polarity SMA.
  • BATGM4-6-60: 4×4 MIMO cellular and one GPS module, without Wi-Fi, with 3m SMA male cables.

R1900 / R980 starter antenna kit

TK4SP2SPRVGPSME starter antenna kit for the Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 / R980 provides four 4G/5G cellular paddle antennas, two dual-band Wi-Fi antennas and one GPS/GNSS antenna to set up and trial the router. This is an antenna kit, not a router bundle.
