The installation consists of one MS-900MAX master station, 4 or 6 LiberatorMax Fire Headsets (CSB-900MAX or CSB-901MAX), a radio cable to mobile, 4 or 6 charging cables, and 4-6 hanger hooks.
Master Station
The Setcom MS-900MAX is a 16-channel wireless radio interface for use with up to 7 Liberator Max Wireless Headsets including radio transmit headsets and intercom-only headsets.
- CSB-900MAX (standard)
- CSB-902MAX (vented)
- CSB-901MAX (standard)
- CSB-905MAX (vented)
This is typically connected to a single mobile radio through the use of the proper radio cable. No pairing is required to use headsets with the base unit, the headsets only need to be on the same channel as the base unit (displayed in the channel indicator).
Can be powered from 12 to 24 VDC supplied by a vehicle power system.
Setcom’s portable radio adapter cables (PRACs) allow radio transmit headsets, normally designed for use with an intercom system, to be used with a portable radio. Setcom offers PRACs for all commonly used portable radios.
LiberatorMax
Introducing LiberatorMAX, the most advanced system for fire apparatus communications. This system features the easiest installation on the market today, requiring only one base station to instantly connect up to seven wireless headsets.
LiberatorMAX is versatile and simple to use. Turn the headset on and be connected with other headsets as well as mobile radio. A great feature of this system is the ability for truck-to-truck communications when on-scene via one of the eight available talk group channels. This is the perfect solution for multiple crews to be connected together, without tying up busy radio channels for communication.
LiberatorMAX is the perfect solution for any fire apparatus, whether you are outfitting an engine, brush truck, aerial, rescue vehicle, ambulance, or command vehicle.
