The Phoenix Jr 123 Infrared Marker Beacon is a highly durable and cost-effective tool. Originally created for combat purposes to minimize fratricide, the beacon is now widely used to identify vehicles, drop zones, and perimeter markings.

While maintaining the same features as the Phoenix Jr, the Jr 123 has a convenient spring clip for easy attachment to various items such as belts, straps, clothing, and equipment. The Phoenix JR uses a CR123 battery and is 50% smaller and lighter than the Phoenix JR. When not in use, the battery can be stored within the unit by installing the battery upside down.
